Best time to visit Kalandula Falls
• a note or something on ✦ an occasion worth the trip
Peak flow at the end of the rains, the falls at full width and power, with the wettest roads and most slippery paths.
Early dry season compromise, still good water with firmer roads and easier access to Cangandala and the Black Stones.
Easiest driving and clearest skies, but falls flow falls away and can split into separate streams over the lip.
Rains building and flow rising, with flooding risk on roads and busier hotels around national holidays.
