These terms are the deal between you and Swearby when you use the app or text the Swearby number. By signing in you agree to them and to our privacy policy.
You need a phone number you control and must be at least 13. Keep your phone secure: whoever has it can sign in. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
Your ratings, notes, photos, lists and trips stay yours. You give Swearby permission to store and show them as the app works: to people you share with, to members who can see your profile, and to help plan trips for people who trust you. You can delete them at any time.
Don't post anything hateful, harassing, sexual, violent, illegal, or that shares someone's private details. Don't impersonate anyone, spam people, or use Swearby to text people who haven't agreed to hear from you. Every person can be reported and blocked from their profile. A person reviews reports within 24 hours, removes content that breaks these rules, and removes the accounts that posted it.
Swearby's suggestions, opening times, prices and plans come from people, guides and AI, and can be wrong or out of date. Check anything that matters, like bookings, opening hours, safety or allergies, before you rely on it. Costs in Swearby are a record between friends: Swearby doesn't move money and isn't part of any payment between you.
By using Swearby you agree to get texts about your trips, polls and costs. Message and data rates may apply. Text STOP to stop, or HELP for help.
You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We can suspend accounts that break these terms.
Swearby is provided as it is, without warranties, to the extent the law allows. We're not liable for indirect losses, or for what happens at places or on trips you find through the app. Apple isn't responsible for Swearby or its content, and Apple's standard terms for apps also apply. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state we operate from.
