Getting around Arraial d'Ajuda: public transport and more
- Fly to Porto Seguro Airport, taxi to Rua do Cais, then the balsa ferry across the Buranhém River, about 8 to 10 minutes, every 30 minutes by day, 24 hours.

- You only need a car for repeated independent days in Trancoso, Espelho and Caraíva.
