Cheap things to do in São Paulo

Street food, free parks and local bars: São Paulo without spending much

These three days move between Centro's historic streets, Ibirapuera's wide lawns and Vila Madalena's mural-covered alleys, spending almost nothing to do it. The eating is the point: a pork roll at a legendary counter, ramen in a Liberdade queue, great-value plates that cost less than you'd expect. This plan suits anyone who'd rather spend money on a cold beer and a second bowl of noodles than on a hotel room they'll barely see.
