Things to do in Vaduz
And where to stay, the best time to visit, what a day costs, and the traps to skip.
Best time to visit Vaduz
• a note or something on ✦ an occasion worth the trip
Late May to early October is best for the valley plus mountains trip, with lifts running and high trails open from late June.
Malbun ski season runs roughly December to late March, snow dependent at 1600 m, and winter valley stays are quiet and dark.
Wine harvest in the Herawingert and valley vineyards, golden forests and thinning crowds make early autumn a local favourite.
Shoulder months are the worst bet, with Malbun and the huts shut in November and high trails muddy or snowy in spring.
