Things to do in Freiburg im Breisgau, splurging
Münster market mornings, then dinners at Wolfshöhle, Drexlers and Zirbelstube.
This is Freiburg for people who plan their days around where they're eating that night. The city is small enough to walk everywhere and serious enough about food to fill three days with long dinners. It suits anyone who wants a long lunch, a good negroni, and a room that doesn't embarrass the rest of the itinerary.

Skip these
- Titisee main strip is cuckoo clock and souvenir volume aimed at coach parties. The lake itself is lovely.
- Münsterplatz cafés charge a view premium for average gateau. Walk two streets away for the same cake for less.
- Do not plan around Schlossbergturm. Intermittent closures are common, Kanonenplatz is the reliable view.
- Gerberau and Fischerau are a charming canal quarter, not Venice. Expect a modest scale.
